Brief introduction of Liu's Healthy Exercises

Liu's Healthy Exercise was created in 1999,and enjoyed great popularity among those who care about life quality and health. The Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise and Healthy Combing Exercise were invented for the purpose of solving those usual problems of traditional public healthy exercise, such as body energy deficiency,poor body function enhancing performance, poor therapeutic effect,etc..

Liu's Healthy Exercise is composed based on integral health theory and lots of personal experience and successful clinical experience.It is proved by more than 10 years applying practice that Liu's Healthy Exercise is extremly effective at diseases treatment,enhancing body energy and further developing body functions, and it is also simple and safe.

Liu's Healthy Exercise is composed mainly by Healthy Abdominal Respiration, also includes Healthy Combing Exercise and Circle-walking Digesting Exercise by Mr. Liu, together with Waist Building Exercise and Wall Squat&rising Exercise which was modified also by Mr. Liu. Liu's Healthy Exercise successfully helped many of his students to cure diseases, raise energy and even develop human body functions. Now let's find out why.

1.Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise

The theory of Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise is based on natural holistic concept, dialectics, Yin-yang and five elements, combined with traditional Chinese respiration guiding, together with experience of practitioner master' summary

① Transportation and transformation of five elements

According to the Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise gesture, hands together(prayer mudra,zen gesture) in front of chest, two middle fingers, two third fingers, two little fingers crossing with each other, two index fingers folding together, pointing upward, forming the Hunyuan Finger hands. The crossing fingers pointing inside could help the Yin-yang energy to focus and transformed by the Laogong Point (middle of palm), and circling around naturally. So the Hunyuan Finger Hands could enhance the  interaction of Yin and Yang, raising the harmonious' state of yin and yang -- the two opposing principles in nature. Our five fingers contain holotropic information of all our internal organs.

The gesture to press Renzhong Point (middle of nose and mouth) with index finger could communicate the energy of heaven and earth, stablize your mind. Renzhong Point is a key point of body of converging energy of heaven and earth to help refresh mind.

From old five elements theory we know that,  liver is subsumed to wood, heart to fire, spleen to earth, lungs to metal, kidney to water, so as to explain the relations among the physiological and pathological changes of the viscera. Wood generates fire, index finger corresponding to liver, pressing Renzhong Point to let the liver energy to nourish heart. Also nostrils correspond to lungs, left and right nostrils take turns to breath to enhance lungs function, lungs can help open merdian and multi channels of human body.

Lungs subsume to metal, fighting against wood to generate water, so as to nourish kidney. Intercourse between heart and kidney to breed new life, just like spring season, so alive and prosper, which also raising energy of liver, lung and spleen. Just like in nature, the intercouse of heaven and earth could create wood, metal and soil.

Abdominal Respiration expand and shrink our lungs to let thoracic diaphragm move up and down, which helps knead our internal organs. Thoracic diaphragm moves down to knead liver, spleen and kidney; moving up to knead heart and lung, so finnally it help enhance physical functions of internal organs, and mix of five elements energy holistically, and human natural function -- to generate visible matter from invisible, to let visible matter change to invisible in turn, which matches the old theory of ' Invisible is visible'.

② Thoracic diaphragm and Vitality

Some medical scientists think that the thoracic diaphragm is the sun of body, movement of thoracic diaphragm is like the rising sun, shining to bring about vitality. Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise is featuring the up and down movement of thoracic diaphragm, to transform invisible energy and visible matter, to generate vitality to our body.

③ Aerobic Exercise

Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise is a kind of ideal aerobic exercise. Practicing healthy abdominal respiration exercise could help form the habit of deep breathing, which significantly raising the binding rate of oxygen to body from 10%-20% to 70%-80%, compared with normal chest breathing. Lungs move only horizontally in nomal chest breathing, but with abdominal breathing it move both horizontally and vertically. The increase of oxygen binding rate helps heal diseases and enhance body functions.

④ Three Ki-Pools Resonance

There are mainly 3 energy pools in our body, which are upper, middle and lower elixir fields ( In head, chest and abdomen respectively). The three Ki pools resonate from the first section of this Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise. There are channels leading to brain inside the nose, when we inhale, the airflow reach and knead our brain, where the upper elixir field lies in. Respiration could bring oxygen into our lungs to bind with blood and emit carbon dioxide out of body, during which process, massive energy gathering in lungs and heart.

2. Healthy Combing Exercise

Healthy Combing Exercise is easy to learn, it is safe and effective for keeping body healthy. It use the finger pulp to stimulate nerve terminals in our scalp and the key points to circulate the blood and energy in head, to refresh the head and get rid of the turbid energy, so as to nourish brain nerve cells.

As main and collateral channels gather in head,combing exercise could reorganize the energy of the twelve meridians and the eight extra-meridians, to enhance the circling of body blood and energy. The effect may be doubled if it is practised together with the Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise,it could refresh head, brighten eyes,relieve tiredness, beautify skin and hair,heal illness and keep fit, and further develop wisdom.

3. Circle-walking Digesting Exercise

As the Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise cannot be practiced right after meal, so the Circle-walking Digesting  Exercise is just invented to solve this problem,and it helps enhance body digesting and absorbing function meanwhile helps keep the ideal weight.Throught the circle-walking, we can active the waise, nourish kidney and enhance the lower elixir field.


4. Waist Building Exercise

Waist Builing Exercise is also an necessary supplementary exercise to the Healthy Abdominal Respiration Exercise. The swinging of coccyx could initiate the Yang energy(Yang Qi), guiding it up to nourish brain and develop wisdom.Also our essence could turn into Yang Qi(according to the Essence, Qi and Sipirit Theory) and astringe to the bone, to soften waist and strenghen kidney.


5. Wall Squat & rising Exercise

Wall Squat & rising Exercise is also easy to learn, by facing to a wall to let the nose and knee slightly touch the wall, then squat and rise slowly and repeat it until you feel tired.It is also a good supplementary exercise.It helps strengthen sinews and bones, drege the meridian and channels,balance the Yin and Yang of body, and also helpful to recover health in limbs and trunk.

刘氏系列健身操简介

刘氏系列健身操,自1999年问世以来,受到了国内外广大热爱生命、喜欢健身、渴望健康的人们的喜爱。当时编创健身呼吸操和梳头操的目的,主要是为了解决群众性的健身活动中,人们普遍存在着的身体内气不足或增长很慢、健身不出功夫、祛病不见疗效等问题。

      刘氏系列健身操,是以智慧整体观为依据,并结合作者多年的修身实践和临床康复经验编创出来的。近十多年的实践证明,刘氏系列健身操确实在治病康复、健身养生和开窍长功等方面具有神奇的效果,是祛病强身和培补内气简易安全、科学高效的健身方法。

      刘氏系列健身操,以健身呼吸操为主,以梳头操和走圈消食操相佐,并结合作者改编的升阳固本操、自然蹲起操两个辅助健身法,已经使众多的人获得了健康,增长了功夫,并为人们开发根本智慧奠定了基础。为什么刘氏系列健身操会取得如此好的功效呢?我们可以了解一下其健身、祛病、养生、开智的原理,答案自在其中。

一、健身呼吸操
      健身呼吸操的理论是建立在智慧整体观与辩证法、阴阳五行学说的基础之上,并依据中国传统的呼吸吐纳导引之理法,结合修行家总结的混元功诀——“混元一五行,无形亦有形,中寓阴阳造化机,开合聚散万物生”所编创的。
1.五行的运化
      做呼吸操,首先要求两手胸前合十,然后将左右手的拇指、中指、无名指和小指相互交叉内敛于掌心;两个食指指腹相合、指尖向上,形成混元剑指诀。因为两手是合十的,手指又是相互交叉向掌心弯曲内敛,这样就使得身体的阴阳气机,经两掌心劳宫穴在体内充分混化,并形成了一个和谐的循环圈。所以,混元剑指诀既可加大阴阳和合的力量,又能起到平衡阴阳的作用。另外,人的五指本身就带有肾、心、肝、肺、脾,膀胱、小肠、胆、大肠、胃、三焦,这五脏六腑的全息信息,而混元剑指诀把这些信息都包含了进来。

      健身呼吸操要求单手食指轻点人中穴,人中穴为天地之气的交合点,是醒神之窍。食指轻抵人中穴可以起到交通天地二气、和安心神的作用。

      从五行上讲,心属火,肝属木,木生火。食指属肝,它轻抵在人中穴上,那么肝气就可以上来培补心脏。呼吸操强化了左鼻孔、右鼻孔的交替呼吸,鼻孔属于肺的外窍,肺主呼吸和肃降,中医理论讲肺朝百脉,就是说通过呼吸可以把身体的百脉全部打开。

      肺属金,肝肺之气相搏才能形成金生水的功用,而金生的水降下来养肾。肾在五行中属水,而心肾相交的结果,必然会促使清净之水升温,即阴中生元阳的结果自然会潜藏初阳萌发的生机。如果将初阳萌生的阳气孕化起来,就像春天一样,那么这种能量就能够孕育万物及生命。所以说,心肾之气相交的结果自然会滋养肝气、肺气和脾气。阴阳相搏、坎离交媾的结果必然会产生生水、生火、生木、生金、生土的结果。脾在中宫,属土,鼻孔交换呼吸,更进一步强化了人的阴阳平衡。这就叫“混元一五行”。

      呼吸操采用了顺腹式呼吸法,由于肺的上下开合运动,就促使横膈肌的上升下降,这样就起到了按摩人的五脏的作用。人的形体可以通过按摩来达到舒筋活络的目的,但内脏就得靠自己的呼吸促使横膈肌的上下运动,来达到按摩脏腑的目的。当膈肌往下行,就按摩了肾脏、肝脏、脾脏;膈肌往上一收缩,就按摩了肺脏和心脏。人无形的呼吸通过膈肌有形的运动,自然地推动了五脏气机的升降开合,这样既强化了五脏各自的生理功能,同时也促进了五行之气的整体混化,使人的生理功能——有化无、无生有的有无相生功能得到了强化和提高。像这样去混化人的生命活动,就能自然展现出“无形亦有形”的涵义。

   2.膈肌与生机
      怎样理解“中寓阴阳造化机”这句话的涵义?可以从膈肌的上下运动中去理解。在医学上有学者认为,横膈肌相当于人体生命中的太阳,膈肌的运动就好像是冉冉升起的太阳,给人的生命带来无限的生机。呼吸操能够促进膈肌的上下运动,因此也促进了五脏六腑有形的脏器器官和无形之气的升降开合,像这样在无形亦有形的相互混化、转化的过程中,重新造化了人的生命力。
在修身养性方面,人如果有依靠他人的想法,妄想他人来帮自己造化生机,那是不可能的。他人的帮助,只能通过其自身的行为活动来影响、来达成引导我们走一条身心活动整体健康的觉悟之路。人若需要改变自己,首先得呈现出谦卑与诚信的心态来接受明师的指导;不仅如此,更重要的是自己能够主动去做。一当自己的生命活动得到了改变,那就体现了“开合聚散万物生”的涵义。

   3.有氧运动
      健身呼吸操也是一个非常理想的有氧锻炼方法。通过习练呼吸操,逐渐养成深呼吸习惯,大大提高了氧在人体内的结合吸收率。平常人的胸式呼吸是横向的胸部开合,而顺腹式呼吸能帮助肺部上下开合。呼吸操设计的左右鼻孔交替式的顺腹式健身法,能使氧气的结合率从胸式呼吸的10%~20%提高到70%~80%,这是健身呼吸操可以使习练者迅速获得康复和长功的另一重要原因。

   4.三田共振
      习练呼吸操还可以使三个丹田共振。呼吸操从第一节开始,练的就是三丹田共振。鼻腔里有通往脑部的管道,鼻子一吸气,气流的运动就可以振动到脑部,那就是上丹田的位置。通过腹腔的一吸一呼,把空气中的氧气吸入到肺里和血液结合,形成新鲜血液,再呼出二氧化碳。肺部和心脏在这个运动过程中积聚了大量的能量,再配合顺腹式呼吸的脏腑按摩,自然就强化了心脏和肺脏的功能,无形之中就强化了中丹田。中丹田强化好后,体内的气机就可以自由升降而不受隔阻。还有,顺腹式呼吸是在腹部一开一合,也就自然强化了下丹田。
因此,呼吸操确实是一套既方便又高效的健身方法,它是由很多诀窍中的精华汇集而成的。实践是检验真理的唯一标准,只有自己尝试体会一下,哪怕是三五天时间,每天练半个小时,就可以感受到身体的变化了。

二、健身梳头操
      健身梳头操是一种非常简便易学、安全高效的自我保健操。它通过手指的指腹来刺激头皮的神经末梢和头部各穴位的气血,使之达成升清降浊的目的,从而营养了脑神经细胞。

      另外,由于人周身所有的经络,都交汇于头部,梳头操能够对人周身的十二正经和奇经八脉之气进行提纲挈领式的整理,这样便自然促进了人体的气血循环。如果配合健身呼吸操一起练习,则具有醒脑明目,消除疲劳,美肤护发,祛病强身,开发智慧等功效。

三、走圈消食操
      走圈消食操是为配合习练健身呼吸操而编创的。通过走圈,既解决了饭后不能马上练呼吸操的问题,又提高了人体的消化、吸收功能,同时还具有减肥健身的效果;通过走圈,还能起到活腰转胯、培补肾气、强化下丹田的作用。

四、升阳固本操
      升阳固本操,为健身呼吸操的辅助操。通过尾闾骨的轻轻摆动,启动阳气,使其沿督脉上升,一方面可以按摩大脑,开发智慧;另一方面可以化精气,生督阳,敛气入骨,松腰强肾。既具炼精化气的固本之能,又培开启智慧的生理之基。

五、自然蹲起操
      自然蹲起操,简单易行,随处可练,是配合呼吸操、梳头操等健身操的辅助操。通过习练本操,可以畅通气脉,疏通经络,强筋健骨,保持身体气血的阴阳平衡,并有助于肢体等方面疾病的康复。
